I feel time is running out for the preservation of old videotapes. The work of many artists who pionering this new media are turning into dust. The magnetic field of all these videotapes are going to be gone forever. It is urgent to preserve these videotapes. This should be top priority.Papers, photos, painting and other materials can last longer .The whole history of the avant garde is on these tapes. Please help preserve the avant garde. Please help preserve the experimental work of the 60’s and 70’s.Please.Please. The future will judge us for doing nothing to preserve this heritage.Again desperately ask for help. Thank you
