Because the Museum Archives was not established until 1989, a number of staff members took the records they created with them when they left the Museum, prior to that date. Some of these individuals later gave these records back to the Museum; some sold or gave their records to other repositories; and there may still be some records in private possession.

Our staff currently consists of a full-time professional Museum Archivist, Associate Archivist, Archives Specialist, and Records Manager. Additional staff consists of grant-funded project staff and interns.
